Psyche
I work with undefined figures moving through space, meant to remind the viewer of movement caught out of the corner of the eye. A feeling of being haunted. I am inspired by the anomalies in my own vision shadows, and dark spaces.
I use ambiguous figures and ones in motion as an allegory for the inner self. The figures are closer to one's subconscious or id haunting you, finding their way into reality. The shadow haunting you isn't a stranger, it is yourself.

She inhabits dark place full of questions she doesn’t want to ask, answers she never wished to hear. She is looking for her shadow in the fading light, but now she’s caught seeking the questions for the answers she has received.
Is she Psyche or Persephone; the lover or the ruler of the unknown depths of the soul? How long until the shadow finds her?
