These are full documentary style sessions of practice spaces, using natural/available light, a soft film-like aesthetic, and deliberate motion blur to show movement. I photograph the effort, the joy, the in-between moments, the emotion after it's over. I hope to honor the spirit of learning and the vulnerability of practicing a cherished craft. I may not disappear entirely, but by being in the room from start to finish,  I become a part of the room with you and your students.
